To provide merchants with seamless access to Amazon’s Buy with Prime functionality, BigCommerce initiated a project to integrate the feature directly into storefronts. This allows merchants to offer fast, reliable Prime shipping options to their customers.
As the lead product designer, I guided the experience strategy and product design, working closely with Amazon to deliver the integration in just 4 months.
We collaborated closely with Amazon to integrate Buy with Prime into BigCommerce, aligning with Amazon's existing merchant console. Our design reduced the complexity of onboarding between the two platforms, making it easier for merchants to connect their products, manage inventory, and configure Prime settings without added friction.
Merchants were empowered to quickly link their BigCommerce and Amazon catalogs, utilizing Amazon's logic to match existing SKUs seamlessly. This functionality enabled them to select products for Prime eligibility on their storefronts in one location, simplifying the process of expanding their offerings and enhancing customer satisfaction.
